Multi Unit Residential Water Loss

This toilet overflow caused damage to multiple apartments in central Missoula.  SERVPRO of Missoula responded expediently with multiple crews to provide emergency services to all affected units.  Following all local, state and federal ordinances, SERVPRO of Missoula filed a demolition permit with the City of Missoula and completed the required asbestos survey and inspection prior to removing any affected building materials.  The Montana Department of Environmental Quality requires an accredited asbestos inspector to perform a survey of all impacted building material and sampling of any suspect materials to determine asbestos content before removal.  Upon receipt of negative asbestos results SERVPRO of Missoula was able to remove affected materials and dry the structure.  After the mitigation and drying SERVPRO of Missoula also performed all repairs to return the units to a rentable condition.
